The production process
The production process can be divided into several stages :

- Intake Raw material is embarked from the fishing boat to prepare for sampling and production
- Cooking Raw material goes through steam heated cooker where it is heated up to 95°C for sterilization and to coagulate the proteins to ease the separation of the soluble and the oil from the dry matter
- Pressing The cooked raw material is then conveyed to a screw press where the liquid is pressed out to form a cake which is conveyed to the driers
- Separation Press liquid (water and oil) is fed to the decanter for other particles (protein, salt etc) to be removed fed to the drier to mix in with the press cake. The liquid then goes to the separators where the oil is removed and is then stored in storage tanks.
- Drying The press cake goes to the driers to remove liquid in the cake through concentrated steam drying
-Sieve After the drying process, the product goes to the sieve to remove the foreign particles (bones, scales, wood, etc.)
- Grinding The final production is then grinded by the grinding machine to break down any lumps and particles of bone into powder
- Cooling The fishmeal is very hot when the drying process is completed; it is then cooled down in a specialized cooler before being stored
- Storing The fish meal is bagged in PP woven bags and stored in the warehouse for sampling. After sampling, the product is ready for exportation
